This is a stationary seal used for high speed applications and it can be balanced without having to undercut the shaft. This class of seals also include type: 11, 14 & 18. Typically found in gear boxes, pumps, compressors and mixers.

This seal is mounted on the shaft, it has a low radial cross section making it ideal when cavity dimensions are limited. For even shallower cavity dimensions, specify with a "T" suffix. Typically found in petrochemical pumps, mixers, and agitators.

This is a shaft mounted seal of simple construction. Included in this class of seals are olso: type 50B and 51. Useable in many low pressure applications, including: centrifugal and rotary pumps, gearboxes, refrigiration compressors, compressors, mixers and agitators.
