Our Director of Engineering, Ryan Neris, recently had the opportunity to attend the 2024 HI Annual Conference in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
The conference is a premier event in the fluid handling industry, bringing together top engineers, researchers, and industry leaders to exchange ideas, discuss emerging technologies, and explore best practices.
During the conference, Neris had the chance to participate in engaging workshops, panel discussions, and technical sessions covering a wide range of topics, from pump design and optimization to energy efficiency and sustainability. These sessions provided valuable insights into the latest advancements in fluid handling technology and industry trends, empowering our team to innovate and adapt to evolving market demands.
He also attended several committee meetings including the Hydraulic Performance Testing and Condition Monitoring.
“Participating in committees involving seals allows our input into standards and development of teaching tools for internal training and external technical content,” Neris says.
Networking opportunities at the conference also proved invaluable, allowing him to connect with fellow experts and professionals in the field.
“The events provide traction and in-person engagement to behind-the-scenes work on HI standards, workshops, and reporting on past and future goings-on in the industry,” he says, citing the biggest highlight of the event as making connections with HI members in the industry.
